Become a founding reporter

SlotDost alerts switch on when about 30 reliable reporters are in place across the five consulates. This is the crew that makes free alerts real — and gets credited for it, by name.

What a reporter actually does

1

See a slot

You're checking the official portal for yourself anyway. When dates are open, you notice — that's the whole job.

2

Report in seconds

Four taps in the bot: category, consulate, appointment type, earliest date. Screenshot optional — and if you send one, crop out every personal detail first.

3

Get confirmed, get credited

Another applicant confirms your sighting; the alert goes out with your name on it: "First spotted by…". Accuracy builds your level.

Levels run on accuracy, not volume

Dost → Super Dost → Super Dost Star. Levels are earned by confirmed, honest reporting — never by raw count, so nobody is rewarded for spamming sightings. Reporters whose sightings repeatedly turn out fake lose standing; repeat offenders are removed.

Top reporters each month are recognised in the community and rewarded with prep help from our community partners — like a mock interview session or a DS-160 review. Never cash, never paid slots: cash per report buys fake reports.

The reporter code

Never share your portal password with anyone, including us. Never post an edited or borrowed screenshot. Crop names, profile IDs and personal details from every screenshot. If you're not sure a date was real, say so — "unconfirmed" is a respectable report; a fake one is not.
